Tummy Tracking- 13 weeks

Here I am at almost 13 weeks! I am showing much earlier than I did when pregnant with Turner, they say your body adjusts must quicker the second time around! We had our first ultrasound (see picture below) it was so heartwarming to see the baby and hear the heartbeat, Andy thinks it's going to be a boy, I don't have a feeling yet either way but our anatomy ultrasound is June 24th! So we'll let you know then :) This pregnancy is a little different already, first i feel much more nauseus than i did with Turner (although andy says i just forgot how sick i was the first time), secondly I'm much more exhausted this time but i'm not blaming that on the pregnancy i'm blaming that on chasing after a two yr old. Lastly I'm seeing a high risk specialist and have to give myself daily shots for blood thinners, just taking precautions because of my stroke history. Other than those things I am feeling great, really excited to see our baby in November and really excited for Turner to be a big brother. We had a fabulous weekend in Chicago celebrating Joanne's 30th and celebrating Mother's Day, we can't wait to get back there for the whole month of July!! Turner is such a sweet little boy he is talking so much and learning to memorize books and read them to us! He loves to play out in the backyard and now that it's nice out that's where we'll be most afternoons! Andy got his teaching position for next year and will finally be tenured, woohoo!!!!
