Weekend in Chicago

Spent last weekend in Chi-town celebrating Julie Farrell's bridal shower, had a wonderful time visiting with everyone! Here are some pics, as you can see Turner is growing and growing each day! We're looking forward to some much needed R & R at the beach and excited for a whole week of relaxing with the family! Turner is still kicking more and more which is an incredible feeling and we're still obsessed with banana's, Andy's job search continues- please keep him in your prayers, we do have faith something will turn up soon! Hope everyone's summers are going well, looking forward to seeing many of you at OBX!

Happy Friday!

We had our fetal echo appointment yesterday to check out Little Turner's heart, and everything looks good and healthy, so no worries there! As for mom, my nausea is back and it is no fun. My morning sickness went away right at three months and for some reason it came back a week ago. Every morning around 10 I get completely nauseated and it lasts for about 2 hours, my dr. said to cut out my juice b/c maybe it was from the sugar but I cut that out and no difference, I'm chalking it up to being pregnant, and hoping the nausea goes away soon, at least it's not all day like in the first trimester. On a more positive note Turner has been kicking alot and that always makes me smile! Andy got to feel him kick for the first time the other night and was just glowing! Counting down the days to the beach, can't wait for some vacation, only 16 more days!

The top picture is of Turner the day we found out he's a boy, we loved watching him wave at us! The bottom picture Andy took himself when we volunteered to have an ultrasound done at my friend Kim's med school!

5 month Dr. appt

Went to our five month Dr. appointment this morning, at this point i go in once a month to see the OB she basically checks my weight/bloodpressure answers any question we have and listens to the baby's heartbeat! She did tell us today that i have "sprouted"- my weight gain is healthy yet I still struggle to deal with the fact that I am getting bigger and bigger, it means Turner is healthy though and that makes us happy! I have been feeling him move for the past week or so!! :) It is sooo exciting, although they aren't full kicks just yet, I do feel him tapping and fluttering and it's neat to know he's moving around in there, Andy is eager to be able to feel him soon also. Still tired and emotional as a bonus to being pregnant but more than half- way through!! And on the fourth of july had a stranger tell me I was "The cutest pregnant woman ever" which put a smile on my face. Hope you all are doing well and looking forward to seeing some of you soon!
