Pictures of the Nursery!

Three weeks to go!

Hello everyone, hope all are doing well! Had my nuerologist appt this morning and everything is ok for me to give birth!! The Nuerologist I saw had worked at Jefferson where i had had my heart surgery, she knew Dr. Bell, my stroke specialist, and even knew the doctor who performed my heart surgery. She is very familiar with PFO's and feels confident that i am ok to deliver Turner! With all my follow-ups and the repaired hole, and not having had any symptoms in six years she gave me the OK to give birth and not have to have antibiotics or blood thinners. It was great to get the ok from a DR who knew what had happenned and feels confident that everything is ok for the labor and delivery!! So i'm back to seeing my OB once a week till little Turner gets here!! Can't believe it is so soon, we are just about done with the nursery, will try and post some pictures here soon! Waiting patiently for Turner's arrival, sometimes he feels like he's trying to come out through my stomach as i've been feeling alot stronger kicks lately- i don't think there is much room for him in there anymore. Here's a funny pregnant dream i had last night, so in my dream i was at the hospital ready to deliver Turner but Andy was the one giving birth!!AHHH! I sat in the chair coaching as Andy gave birth and when the baby came out it was a GIRL! Now we have had four ultrasounds absolutlely confirming we're having a boy so in my dream i kept telling the doc it was a boy and the doctor kept saying know, "she's a girl" and then everyone kept calling her Sarah and I kept saying "no HIS name is turner!"......who wants to tell me what that dream meant? hehe. Can't believe he'll be here in less than three weeks, we are so excited and feel so blessed that he is already soo soo loved, who knew you could love someone so much that you haven't even met yet? God really did bless us with this baby and we can't wait for you all to meet him! Will keep you updated as we count down the days.....20 days left........

Tummy tracking 35 weeks

Turner is definitely growing more and more each day! We just can't wait to see him! So Turner and I officially moved to New Jersey last Thursday, it was hard saying goodbye to my work, my close friends, Ali and my life in Ohio- but also exciting to start our new journey as a family in New Jersey. We saw our new OB doctor on Friday who seems very nice and with many recommendations from teachers at Andy's school we feel comfortable with the practice. At the appt she told us Turner has 'dropped' and is head down and ready to go, that doesn't mean i'm ready to deliver just that he's in position- she told us she sees me delivering around our due date as most first time babies go the whole 40 weeks or more. Our new doctor also has me seeing a high-risk specialist tommorrow just to get the ok on everything for the delivery, she doesn't seem to be too worried but with my heart history just wants to double check everything which is comforting that she is so thorough. So now i'm in to the doc once a week till we deliver, can you believe it has gone by so fast, i feel like i was just 12 weeks yesterday. After our appt. on Friday we moved into our new apartment, it's a very nice place with a newly rennovated kitchen. Have been busy unpacking and organizing and unpacking some more, getting the nursery set up is so exciting, we're waiting on the crib and dresser/changing table to come in and then we'll post a picture of the nursery once set up. Hope everyone is doing well, I'll post more after our appt. tommorrow, we get another ultrasound done on Turner tommorrow, I just love seeing him! He's moving around alot(he loves to kick mom in the ribs but she's just happy to feel him move) and he gets the hiccupps almost daily which is cute too. Andy's enjoying his teaching job and getting more and more used to his classroom, I'm going in Friday to see his classroom which will be fun! Love and misses to you all, Maria, Andy and Turner
