A message from Turner

Hi to all my friends and family, i am so glad to have this blog to share my moments with you all. I am eleven weeks old today, I can't believe how big i am getting and my mommy says that i'm getting bigger and bigger and cuter and cuter each day! I am learning so many new things like how to hold a baby rattle and how to hit the toys that hang above me on my baby gym! I am talking or as us babies say, "cooing", all the time now, I can even make a "goo" sound. Daddy and mommy love to talk with me, they make some really silly noises though when they're cooing with me. Every day mommy gets down on the floor with me to play and she shows me these puppet toys, Jagi got me a fozzy bear puppet for chirstmas that i love! And she sings to me all sorts of fun songs and we read books all day! Daddy's classroom gave me a whole basket of books that he loves to read to me too, he also loves to walk with me and tell me stories about sports, I was an Eagles fan but now i'm a bears fan, Go Bears! I had my first trip to the library the other day for story time and I had so much fun! I'm eating and sleeping more and more, mommy is still breastfeeding me so I can get the really good and healthy milk, although every now and then i get a bottle of what they call formula to supplement when i get really hungry. I'm sleeping much better at night, i sure did give mommy and daddy a run for their money those first few weeks! But now I usually sleep 5 whole hours and then get up and mommy feeds me and then i sleep another 1-2 hours and then i eat again and then i sleep another 1-2 hours and then i'm up for the day, usually around 6 am although mommy and daddy would like me to sleep a little later, but hey i'm a baby! I also have a friend who mommy watches in the mornings and she puts us on a blanket on the floor together to play although i haven't quite noticed him too much just yet, but boy will he be fun to play with when i get bigger. I love to see my grammy and grandpa and my Jagi and Nan,they usually don't let a week go by without seeing me, what can i say i'm just too adorable! I am really excited to be seeing all my aunts soon in February and March and I hear that i'm getting baptised in April!! I'm also excited to wear my tuxedo at mommy and daddy's wedding June! We are a busy family here and so full of love, what a lucky guy I am to have you all as family and friends! I love you and miss you, Love, baby Turner

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone! Turner brought in the new year at grandma and grandpa's house while the proud parents had an evening out in the city. What a wonderful year it will be as the first full year of Turner's life!! He is getting so big now, he's cooing alot and smiling all the time. He has just learned to use his hands to hit the toys above him on his play gym, it's amazing how he learns new things each and every day! We can't believe he is already two months old, how time flies! We had a wonderful holiday visiting with our family and friends and can't wait to see more of you. Turner had his two month doctor check up and had five shots :( it was harder on mommy than it was on little T. He's sleeping a little better at night but still getting up about 2-3 each night, we're still hoping for that 8-hour sleep period to arrive soon! We brought Turner in to meet Andy's fifth grade class and they fell in love with him as does anyone who meets him!! He continues to bring more joy to us each and every day and we will continue to share his pictures and stories with you all! Thinking of you all always, Love, Maria, Andy and Baby Turner
