Our Baby Boy!

Just wanted to say how proud we are of our beautiful son! He is getting bigger every day! Some neat things to share are that; while we are holding him under his arms he can stand on his feet- he is so strong! He is also starting to mimick our facial expressions, he loves to stick his tongue out at daddy as daddy sticks his tongue out at him. He is now sleeping a solid 4hours every night (woohoo!) and then the rest of the night another 1-3hours here and there. He doesn't have a schedule yet but he does tend to take a morning nap and an afternoon nap, although not always but it is nice when he does so mommy can take a shower and get stuff done! His arms are soo strong, he is constantly waving his hands and arms around,Andy's grandmother says he has "busy hands", he loves to hold on to your finger or clothes and sometimes hair (ouch), it's amazing how active he is becoming! He also loves his swing now and can sit contently for twenty minutes, he loves to stare at the dancing bears above his swing, it is adorable! He also loves to look at black frames on pictures, we have a few hanging in our apt. and he will just stare and stare at them. He follows us with his eyes when one of us leaves the room! And he just loves his bath time, he would sit in his tub for hours if mommy let him. He is still breastfeeding but has taken an occasional bottle here and there if mommy has been out. He enjoys when we read books to him and is working on his "tummy time" each day, he is getting so strong lifting his head up, and he loves his baby exercises. I can't believe how much he's grown and that he'll be 6 weeks old tommorrow!! It has already gone by so fast, I hear it just continues to go by faster, knowing that I try and remember to cherish each moment with him, kissing his little toes and belly when i change his diaper, telling him we love him every chance we get, cuddling with him each day and just enjoying being his parents. He is growing more and more every day and it is incredible to watch him learn and discover the things around him. He is just so adorable we just can't get enough of him!!! We are just so happy and so fortunate to have our little angel, and he is even luckier to have all the love of his family and friends!

Happy One Month Birthday Turner!

Yesterday was Turner's one month birthday!!! I can't believe we got through a whole month with our little guy! He is amazing and it is so neat to see him grow each and every day. I swear I actually miss him while he's napping! He's been a pretty good baby, now the evenings are still a struggle as he's not sleeping through the night yet but they say around 8 weeks he should be so only a few more weeks to go. He's been breastfeeding a month now and weighs 9 pounds! We make a great team too, when Andy has to get up early I try to take the night shifts and when he knows I'm completely exhausted he takes the shifts so mommy can rest. We've even been out on two dates, leaving Turner in the care of the grandparents!! We're in the process of planning our wedding for June 30th 2007, it is such an exciting time for us! Hope everyone has enjoyed the pictures of Turner. We grow more and more in love with him each day and feel so blessed by our new family! We love you all,
